Local Chicago rap artist Smoozilla debuts an exclusive new track “Young Til I Die” from his highly anticipated mixtape “Stack Mine Til I Flat Line”, which is slated for release July 4th 2012.The soul inspired track aims to familiarize listeners with Smoo’s individual sound by spitting heart felt and relate-able lyrics over a classic laid back Superstar-O produced beat. “Young Til i Die is an ode to staying young forever”.
Smoozilla is one of those up and coming artist who should not be overlooked. With over a decade of perfecting his sound, “Smoo” finally sets his eyes on becoming the next big name in hip hop. Raised on the crime stricken streets of Chicago, Smoo quickly learns to rise above all the violence and poverty by voicing his frustration through his pen and pad. The MDF (Million Dollar Flow ENT) representative grew up in a family influenced by music which is what gave him a natural appetite for rapping. In high school Smoozilla became a member of the rap group ‘Sons Of One,” and signed to indie label, Flow 4 Flow Records. Even though their 2002 self-titled album didn’t reach the desired success, Smoo gained the respect of his home town and built a reputation as a force to be reckoned with. Now as a solo artist Smoo is building quite a name for himself as two of his recent music videos gained over 1 Million views combined on the popular website ILPVIDEO.Com. While continuing on his journey to the top of the charts Smoozilla plans to prove to non-believers that his unique sound is here to stay.
