Fifty makes some good points. However, Diddy has made his wealth by attaching himself to hot acts - its nothing new.

Pusha T was truly ill'in on the Jeezy collabo mixtape joint off Trap or Die 2. On the song “Ill’in”, Pusha T threw this line aimed at Jay-Z.

“Tell Hova don’t pass the crown so soon, Unless he got a crown for every writer in the room/There’s too many spirits on these ghostwritten tunes, So you can’t crown the heir until you séance the room.”

In turn, Pusha T has tried to clarify his lyrics courtesy of VIBE:

I actually wrote my verse [around the time] “D.O.A.” dropped. I just feel like there are a lot of new artists in the game that still have to prove themselves. You hear so much talk about who’s next and who’s up next and who’s the man and so on and so forth. In all fairness, I feel like Jay-Z is still relevant. He’s still the rapper. He’s the crown-holder right now. But, you know, he cosigns plenty of artists all the time, so I just wanted to tell him not to pass the crown too soon because we don’t know enough about these artists yet. We need to do checks on them first and see what they’re all about. Obviously, ghostwriting is a very big thing going on, too. So we gotta see who the man is behind all of these joints if that’s what’s going on.

I had 2nd thoughts about posting this...not because its controversial, but more because I wasn't sure if more than about 14 people would give a damn. Anyway, I guess there is beef between these old "friends":

"We did a song called 'Get Involved' and we paid him $50,000 to appear in the video," Gin explained in an interview. "And we paid him his producing fee and this dude didn't even get in it. He messed me up to the point where we had to make an animation of the video and put it overseas. Now throughout the years, he always said he was gonna work with me and all of that but he never did and I didn't say anything. I always said [to the media], 'Our schedules are conflicting.' I'm definitely a professional, but when you actually do something, you deserve to be called out. And it's not only me he's done things to, I'm not gonna speak on that, I'm gonna speak on me.
