Beanie Sigel Talks Current Relationship With Memphis Bleek

beanie Beanie Sigel Talks Current Relationship With Memphis Bleek

Beanie Sigel sat down with The Source for their January/February issue to talk the obvious (Jay-Z, Dame Dash, 50 Cent and everything in between). Here’s an excerpt in regards to his relationship with the “lil homie” (Memphis Bleek).

“I mean to me right now, that’s Jay young boy, that’s his lil’ man. Me, honestly, I think Bleek is happy how things are right now. Because now he really gets to be Jay’s lil’ man and it’s evident, you can see it. It’s like he’s the last one who survived. He weathered the storm but the storm didn’t start with the breakup, the storm started when Beanie Sigel got signed to the Roc. He was coming of age when I came. [Laughs.] He’s still coming of age.

I’mma have to do something that I’m an expert at; it’s called ‘kill people.’ That’s why it’s The Darkside: Volume 1. Once you get this one, you ain’t gonna never want Fat Joe to do anything else. Just know that this new album right here is about to be the skeleton. We about to change how every n—a do their album now. N—as is gonna have to come hard.” (MTV)

Crooked I – HoodHype Interview (Audio)

http://www.soulassassins.com/wp-content/uploads/crooked-i.jpg

Finally! Crooked I was the last member of Slaughterhouse we had yet to interview on the show. And now it’s done! Quite possibly one of our favorites. We spoke to him about everything from the Kunta Kenzino (Benzino) debacle to the status of the Slaughterhouse/Shady deal to which Crooked said “IF Slaughterhouse is on any label in the world, in my opinion, Shady Records is the best fit. Thats the best fit to me”. So it looks like they still don’t have a solid statement to make on the deal, but judging from the sounds of it, that’s definitely not slowing down the likes of Slaughterhouse and Crooked I. – JMack
