YMCMB Grammy Party Recap: Lil Wayne Signs Christina Milian and Fires at The Throne
In the midst of the Missinfo.tv crew mourning Whitney’s death, we let this one slip by us. During the annual YMCMB pre-Grammy party, Weezy made some interesting announcements and threw another pebble at The Throne’s door. With the mic in his hand, Wayne asked for a moment of silence in Whitney’s honor and then proceeded to announce that Christian Milian was now officially YMCMB. But the craziness didn’t stop there. Almost in the same breathe, he fired off at Jay-Z and Kanye West.

Before heading to prision, T.I. did an exclusive sit down with MTV’s RapFix Live to break down some of the tracks on his new album No Mercy that’s in-stores now. Above, the ATL rapper reveals that his Christina Aguilera x Alex Da Kid collabo “Castle Walls” originally belonged to Diddy-Dirty Money but was passed on to him by Puff because he felt the song fit T.I.’s current situation more.
“A funny thing about this record: It belonged to my big homey Puff first,” Tip explained in an exclusive interview on “RapFix Live.” “Puff, he acknowledged it, ‘Yeah, this is my record, but you know what, I think this is a better fit for you. I think you should rock out on this one. I think this speaks volumes to where you are, what you going through, what you living and how you feel.’ “
