New York rap icon Jadakiss began to roll out promotion of his new album — Top 5: Dead or Alive — with a collaborative shirt in conjunction with premier retailer ALIFE. The two parties worked to host an exclusive event for the project, which was held in the intimate backyard setting of ALIFE’s Lower East Side flagship. Hypebeast got the opportunity to speak with Jadakiss regarding his relationship with the brand, with the rapper recounting earlier incarnations of the store, which only served to sweeten their most recent endeavor. The D-Block captain calmly displays his storytelling capacity as he details his relationship with ALIFE past and present, what he thinks of the burgeoning talent of today, and even an introspective account of his own place in rap music. Enjoy the piece above.

In part 2 of Ricky Rozay’s South Africa vlog, the bawse mentions that he has his eyes set on working with a legendary West Coast producer (2:34 min mark). Now, he doesn’t say Dre by name but by the way he talks in this clip, all signs point to Dre in my opinion. Nothing is confirmed, in fact he says there’s only a chance it’ll happen. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for now.
-Ricky wanting #FlyFatNigga to be a trending topic
-Rozay revealing that in the early 90s there was a famous weed spot called Kilimanjaro and he intitally jus thought it was the name of some high powered weed.
-Ross giving a young South African rapper an opportunity (maybe a deal/)

A little while ago, Rick Ross made his first real public appearance on 106 &Park, since he suffered two seizures late last month. The rotund rapper attributed them to working too hard and not getting enough sleep. He did assure fans that he was resting up according to doctors orders and is doing fine.
He also revealed that he just wrapped up one of the biggest records of his career, which is another collabo with Jay-Z.
Rozay played it cool when Rocsi asked about 50’s tweet in regards to his seizures.
Honestly, I’m not sure if he was aware of exactly what Fif said.
