Universal Confirms Drake’s “Started From The Bottom” Release
Universal Music confirmed to Billboard that the new Drake single, “Started From The Bottom”, is scheduled for a Grammy Night release – but I understand we might hear it even sooner than that.
Drake wrote the treatment and shot the video in the Dominican Republic and Toronto two weeks ago with Director X.

He mentions that he will be doing a collabo album with Weezy, but then does he also toss a few peblles at the throne?

On performing new songs: “I was doing a great song from Take Care. Tonight I’m doing a joint that me and 40 sampled from this kid Jay Paul.”
On Wayne: “He’s in great mental shape, he’s in the zone right now. I’ve heard a lot of music on Carter IV, its going to be an exciting album. When Wayne makes me nervous it’s a good sign. He makes that music where you’re like ‘mmmhh I should of thought of that…’
On Carter IV: (3:23) “I’ll be on it… we’ve done a great song. (Tim: You and Wayne?) yea, and we’re going to do another one… and another one. We still got to do that album. I heard two other guys are coming out with an album together, too. There’s two other rappers are coming out with an album together. I don’t know where they go that idea but…I caught wind of it through the grapevine that there’s some other album with two guys rapping on it. [laughs]
