Lil Wayne Loses Quincy Jones III Lawsuit
Back in September, Lil Wayne decided to sue Quincy Jones III over “The Carter” documentary when Jones allegedly used tracks without Weezys permission. TMZ is reporting that Weezy has lost the case, as well as the countersuit Quincy filed against him and the judge has ordered Wayne to pay $ 2,195,000. Sucks to be Weezy, I Am Not A Human Being 2 is set to be released in stores December 11th.
Gucci Mane Loses $270,000 Jewelry Lawsuit
Rapper Gucci Mane just lost a $ 270,000 battle in court — after a jewelry company in Georgia sued the rapprmer for stealing a buttload of diamonds … and won.
A&A Diamonds retained attorney Vivian Uchitel (no relation) to file the lawsuit earlier this year in Henry County, claiming it loaned the rapper a $ 130,000 diamond pinky ring … in addition to a diamond necklace and bracelet worth $ 110,000.
According to the lawsuit, Gucci had 15 days to pay for the goods or return them — and he did neither … coughing up only $ 40,000.
A&A sued for a total of $ 274,523.34 — the $ 200,000 jewelry balance plus interest and attorneys’ fees.
Gucci never showed up in court, so a default judgment was entered against the rapper in April. A lien was then placed on the rapper’s property.
Gucci still hasn’t responded to the action

It appears Cam’s infamous New York logo chain was the wager for their Giants vs. Patriots Super Bowl championship bet. Cam had his hometeam of course, or so he thought... Nicki said we’d get a Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded teaser (Feb. 14th) today in the form of “Roman In Moscow.” She goes off this new track produced by Street Runner and Sarom Soundz. Dr. Sanjay Gupta and Joe Crack discuss the steps taken to live a more healthier life and the reason for the change, which the Terror Squad general attributes to losing six friends due to heart attacks this year.

Uncle Luke Loses Mayoral Election
Luke finished fourth in the Miami Mayoral Election with 20,663 votes (11%). Although 50% is needed for the seat, candidates Julio Robaina and Carlos Gimenez earned 34% and 29% respectively to force another runoff June 28th. See ya in four years, Skywalker.
Rhymefest Loses Alderman Election Bid
Last night, Rhymefest lost his alderman seat of Chicago’s 20th Ward to the hands of Willie Cochran. The Chicago Tribune reports the rapper pulled in 45.4 percent, but wasn’t enough for 54.6 from Cochran. Last October, Che announced he was running for the seat and in February forced a run-off election.
