The Carter’s newborn made her TV debut during last night’s SNL‘s parody as she got visits from a few celebs including Prince, LL, as well as Nicki Minaj, who sings a lullaby similar to her awful Grammy performance. Poor Blue.
Oh, man! Even Weezy was forced to weigh in on Jeremy Lin and Linsanity fever. In the latest webisode of Weezy’s Sports Corner, the basketball junkie ran through some NBA highlights, including his “slime” JR Smith getting traded to the Knicks. While he supports NY’s new acquisition, Weezy doesn’t show love for the city’s new shining star, J.Lin. The main reason is because Lin and the Knicks smashed Kobe and the Lakers in their last match up.
“Ever Since Jeremy Lin Beat My Lakers, I Hate Him. So I Call Him Lin Laden.”
I guess Weezy gets a pass because his reason is purely sports-related and not like some of these f*cks in the sports journalism world. Yesterday, we were shocked to see ESPN run a head line that read “Chink In The Armor” , which was based around Lin’s mediocre performance in the Knicks recent loss to the Hornets, which ended their win streak. The sports outlet did remove the story, suspend the writer, Max Bretos, and apologize for their actions. A few weeks back, Fox Sports writer Jasn Whitlock, sent out this racist a$$ tweet as well. I say f*ck the both of them.
However, we do have to show love to Saturday Night Live. Last night, they kicked off the show with a great skit that shed light on the double standard Lin is facing when it comes to his race. While there’s been plenty of questionable and racially charged commentary about the kid, most of it seems to be getting swept under the rug. If they were making these kind of comments about a new black or white player, do you think it would be a bigger deal?
Watch the skit after the jump and let us know what you think!
Dude, Lin even scored a Time Magazine cover!

Tonight Drake was the musical guest on SNL and he also appeared in the Digital Short. Below he performs the new single “Make Me Proud” with Nicki Minaj, and after the jump he does “Headlines” plus appears on Weekend Update alongside Jay Pharoah.
Just 8 days before he turns the big 2-5 and releases his sophomore LP, Drake will be featured as the musical guest on SNL on October 15. This will mark Aubrey’s first appearance and will join Nicki Minaj as the only two Young Money artists who have appeared on the NBC late night show this year. Take Care on October 24.
