Most of us were switching between the Oscars and the 61st annual NBA All-Star Game on Sunday night. For those that missed the 2012 edition of the NBA’s exhibition game, Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant won the MVP leading the West All-Stars to a 152-149 win over the East. Nicki Minaj opened up the evening, while Pitbull brought an All-Star cast of Chris Brown, Ne-Yo, and Nayer during his halftime performance.

Putting his troubles behind him, Chris Brown brought in some positive press earlier this morning. The singer broke an attendance record for NBC’s TODAY show, which films at Rockefeller center in New York City. Reports say Breezy drew in over 18k fans in total.

Nicki Minaj’s voluptuous curves made into the upcoming music issue of ladies fashion mag Elle. The prestigious publication also chatted with the Young Money vixen on why she wanted to become a rapper, among other topics. You can catch the full story on Apr.12th when the issue hits newstands, but for now here’s a quick excerpt.
Nicki Minaj On being a rapper: “I always wanted to play with the boys. I didn’t want to be a pawn in their game or have a sidekick role. I wanted to be more of a lead character – a superhero.”
