“It’s Miami Heat all day in every kinda way. OKC gotta pay for their disrespect that they did with my son — that never would be honored.”
“The arena, just the arena because I love the people of OKC — it’s the arena and how they been disrespectful.”
“Fuck them, I have no respect for them and the way they just disrespected another black man who tryin’ to come to their arena that happens to be my son. It’s Miami Heat all day every day anyway, but that’s just how I feel personally.”
Most of us were switching between the Oscars and the 61st annual NBA All-Star Game on Sunday night. For those that missed the 2012 edition of the NBA’s exhibition game, Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant won the MVP leading the West All-Stars to a 152-149 win over the East. Nicki Minaj opened up the evening, while Pitbull brought an All-Star cast of Chris Brown, Ne-Yo, and Nayer during his halftime performance.
Drake and Common hang out, photos from last night’s All-Star Game, The Rosenthal’s meetup with some of your All-Star favorites, and party footage after the jump…..
Thanks to BMimms for this shot. Looks like all is good between the two, still weird so soon after the fact.
Our guys, The Rosenthal’s made it to Orlando and had a chance to rub shoulders with plenty of stars on and off the courts. Watch as Jeff and Eric catch up with Dwight Howard, Fabolous, Wale, Dwyane Wade, Roy Hibbert, and Jersey Shoe’s Vinny, for MTV’s The Check-In.
Party, party, party! A collection of All-Star Weekend parties in Orlando from LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Meek Mill, Beanie Sigel, and more.

Fresh off the showroom floor, Birdman surprises Mack Maine and Wayne with matching 2012 Bentley Mulsanne’s. Haven’t seen this kind of benevolence since 50 hooked Mobb Deep with those twin Porsches. YMCMB —we all we got!
I missed this but here’s an extended promo Weezy did for the upcoming 2011 MTV VMA awards. We’ll be reporting live from LA during VMA weekend so be sure to keep a close eye in the blog for exclusive content. In this clip, Weezy talks about getting an array of different emotions out through his music. (spotted: RapUp)
“Emotion is a great inspiration for my music,” explains Wayne. “We all have a billion emotions bottled up inside of us, so I try to find risky at times and catchy ways to get those emotions out.”
Jeezy’s ‘Road To TM103′ Pt.2 and Kendrick Lamar’s “Hail Mary (Freestyle)” after the jump…
Previously: Check out Jeezy’s ‘Road to 103′ (Pt.1)
Kendrick spits over Pac’s “Hail Mary” instrumental and also mentions that he’s touched base with Nas. Let’s hope a collabo comes from that.
Putting his troubles behind him, Chris Brown brought in some positive press earlier this morning. The singer broke an attendance record for NBC’s TODAY show, which films at Rockefeller center in New York City. Reports say Breezy drew in over 18k fans in total.
More from Chris Brown’s performances, along with Kobe Bryant playing some 1-on-1 in S.Korea and Weezy breaking down the sports references he used on Sorry 4 The Wait.

Nicki Minaj’s voluptuous curves made into the upcoming music issue of ladies fashion mag Elle. The prestigious publication also chatted with the Young Money vixen on why she wanted to become a rapper, among other topics. You can catch the full story on Apr.12th when the issue hits newstands, but for now here’s a quick excerpt.
Nicki Minaj On being a rapper: “I always wanted to play with the boys. I didn’t want to be a pawn in their game or have a sidekick role. I wanted to be more of a lead character – a superhero.”
after the jump, check out a close up view of Nicki shaking her booty all on Weezy and in turn Weezy talking about her success…
“I really didn’t get on my knees to give praise, but then I remembered we had a crowd out there,” Wayne playfully told Mixtape Daily. “I got on my knees to do something totally different, but I was like, we got a crowd out there, so let me just give praise.”
“I promise to God, you know what I thought about? When I saw her up there just walking and everybody singing her stuff and she making all those facial expressions, I was just like, I remember watching that DVD,” Wayne said. “When shorty was in the tub. I remember watching that and where she came from and just to know that not that I did that, that she did that. I mean, it’s a beautiful thing.” (via MTV)
here’s a closer look at Nicki giving Weezy a lapdance pt.2
LOL. Lil Wayne talks ringtones, Gucci Mane admits he’s eyeing his DJ’s girlfriend, and Birdman probably overpays for his pendant (the “900 carat” one)…these are some of the scenes we can expect on DJ Scoob Doo’s upcoming Entourage DVD:
North says: Here’s the brand new entry from WeezyThanxYou where from the time is coming near for Lil’ Wayne’s release from Rikers Island. Today he reminds fans of his new proejcts Nino Brown 3 & I Am Not Human Being coming very soon and gives us the heads up on his new look when he comes out this Fall.
Me, I’m good, figured I’d update my glorious fans again. Better sooner than later right? I’ll try to do this more frequently.
Well ain’t nothing going on in here but the time, which seems like it’s taking forever. I’m trying to make the most out of every second tho, mentally. There’s some pretty cool people in here. Even though this isn’t a cool place to be. I’ve learned plenty already and the best lesson is to not come back. Last night, I kicked ass in UNO! Anyway, that’s neither here nor there. Just thought I’d let y’all know. Gotta stay hydrated. Though it’s hot, I still work out. Now don’t be expecting me to look like Hercules when I get out, but I should be a little bulky. I guess.
For the rest read after the jump….
Anyways, please remember to always check for your name in the “thank yous”. I’m always reading letters and responding. Off the subject but her Chris, I think you should team up with Kobe! Go Lakers!
